Intuitive, Interactive, and Intelligent Assay Development
The new Thermo Scientific Cellomics i DEV software is part of High Content 2.0, the next generation of hardware and software from the originator of High Content Analysis. It is the evolution of our approach to developing and optimizing cell imaging assays for scientists in life science, from basic research to drug discovery. i DEV™ combines an intuitive, step-by-step assay setup with a more image centric approach to assay design and optimization, including an industry first “Easy Assay Optimizer” feature which enables multiple groups of biological states to be addressed simultaneously. The software is designed for the rigors of multiuser environments and provides even the occasional user with the means to efficiently and effectively develop cell imaging assays.
Features
- Guided workflows for assay protocol
setup, image acquisition, analysis and
scanning - Streamlined user interface organizes
parameters by function, channel, etc. - Digital microscope mode allows you to
interact with your sample - Multiple groups of images (representing
biological states to be addressed) can be
collected and processed simultaneously - Simplified manipulation of analysis
parameters using radio buttons and slider
bars for instant feedback on changes - Real-time, interactive visualized results at both image processing and cell data level
- Statistics driven identification of the most relevant output features
- Whole platform compatibility on your
instrument or as virtual High Content
Toolbox on your PC
Benefits
- Reduces the learning curve for new and occasional users resulting in less training in multi-user environments
- Dramatically increases understanding of parameters and their impact on image analysis
- Intuitive interface organization results in a more logical approach when developing multiplexed assays
- Easy set up and image acquisition in minutes
- Visually and interactively develops your high content assays, leveraging your biological expertise
- Builds better assays using the most robust and relevant combinations of measurements
- No specialist computing infrastructure required, reducing the total cost of ownership compared to other systems that utilize grid, or multi-processor arrays
